HOLA
Hola is an installation where people play with their voice, becoming more aware of it and its power.
In a world where technology connects us but at the same time distances us. Technologically connected but disconnected from our neighbors, friends and family.
It is very easy to connect with people from anywhere in the world, but it is increasingly difficult for us to build deep relationships with the people around us.

¿Cómo podemos promover la importancia de saludar en un barrio, desde los niños?
Proposal
Saying a sincere hello can improve our coexistence in our environment.
In this installation designed from children and for them, we reflect on the importance of communicating.
It all starts with a good HELLO.
The metaphor
When people say hello in an automated way even without being aware of the person we are greeting, it is like seeing a blurred face
While when we say a sincere hello, looking into the eyes but being very aware of our pronunciation, the people we see are clearer and more real. That is why as long as we say hello well pronounced and with effort, the faces that will be clear.
Process:
1. Representation workshop with children about the unknown hello: In this workshop, children draw portraits of the people they imagine when they say hello in their minds.
2. Development of animation with the faces of drawn children.
3. Patch design in Max msp.
4. Assembly and installation in a public place where children can look at their drawings and play with their voice.
5. Compilation of feedback from users of the installation.
